Antony Geralis, Head of School

Mr. Geralis has been serving in bilingual and international schools in Europe and Asia for almost 30 years, as a teacher (ESOL/ Cambridge Assessment, DP: English A Literature, English A Language & Literature, Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay Supervisor and CAS Supervisor – MYP: English Language & Literature, Personal Project Supervisor), examiner (IB Examiner/ Team Leader for the Extended Essay and English A, University of Michigan ELI – ECCE, ECPE) and Administrator (Academic Head of Languages, MYP & DP Programme Coordinator, Extended Essay and Personal Project Coordinator, Assistant Secondary Principal, Secondary Principal). An IB evangelist himself, his areas of research and passion include recent developments in education, teaching and learning, the social context of education, school improvement and effectiveness, teacher appraisal and professional development, curriculum studies, organisational behaviour and human resources management, motivation and leadership at work, raising standards and managing change and resistance, coaching and mentoring and professional learning communities to mention but a few. Ms. Sali holds a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood, as well as a Masters in Education (Early Childhood). She has more than 5 years of teaching experience in schools in the Asia-Pacific region. She offers extensive background in educating children and guiding their behavior through a constructive approach. She demonstrates strong command in coaching students to achieve their full intellectual, emotional, social and physical development while encouraging appreciation of others and positive self-concepts.

Ms. Israel-Blanding comes from Alabama, USA. She is a certified Special Education teacher with 12 years of experience. She holds a Bachelors in Education, Masters in Education, and Education Specialist degree in Leadership and Administration. She has experience with the IB Middle Years Programme, administering assessments, conducting and facilitating initial referrals for special education, and conducting and facilitating annual Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings.
